Machine to measure and cut in pieces

It is a machine with a twofold function (cutter and measurer) and it ensures the working with the most different materials: mignons, welts, plaits, ribbons and elastic fabric for shoe factories and leather goods, electric cables and pipes for pneumatic plants up to a section of 10x60 mm.
As a measurer it checks the length of the piece to be controlled (up to 1000 m.) and memorizes it at the end of the measure repeating the cycle automatically after the introduction of the subsequent piece.
As a cutter it is able to make single cuts and this allows to cut samples or very long pieces, or it cuts in succession with the following times: 1 cut of 0.5 - 16 cm. in 0.25", 1 meter in 1.6",10 meter in 19".
The length of the pieces, from 5 mm. up to 1000 m., is easy to arrange with a resolution of 1 mm.: a device stops the machine at the arranged number of cuts.
In order to obtain the maximum measure precision the machine is planned for: a gradual starting acceleration, a slowing down before cutting on long measures (programmable), maximum speed adjustable from 2 up to 70 cm/sec. and stop when in the feeding of the material there is something wrong.
The unwinder-feeder allows to work with material arranged in the most different ways: in spools, winders, reels.
The particular pneumatic cutting system economizes on the compressed air consumption which can be only l litre every 3 cuts.
