Automatic machine for spiral cutting of leather up to 7 mm. thickness.
The spiral cutting allows you to obtain a continuous strip even hundreds of meters long from a single leather.
Two versions are available: with 104 cm. or 152 cm. working table. To maximize the yield of the leather, colored circles are engraved on the table which facilitate entering during the initial fixing phase.
The work cycle is configurable and highly automated. Leather is cut by means of a HSS rotating blade with a large diameter (150 mm.) and built-in sharpener. The cut can be helped by an adjustable air cushion.
If the strip breaks or ends, the machine stops automatically. When processing very soft or thin leather, a self-adhesive reinforcing film can be used which is automatically removed after cutting.
The control panel is equipped with a multilingual touchscreen display, with which it is possible:

• vary the cutting speed up to a maximum of 150 metres/minute
• digitally set the width of the strip to be cut from 1.2 to 30 mm. in increments of just 0.1 mm.
• set the quantity of meters of strip to cut
• view the number of meters produced
• choose the level of automation of the work cycle
• program the duration and sharpening mode of the blade: automatic, semi-automatic or manual
• know the yield of the leather when starting the cut
• be informed about the status of the machine via warning/error messages
• view detailed usage statistics to facilitate the analysis of production costs
• check the status of the sensors

Use and maintenance are extremely simplified thanks to careful planning of every detail.
