Automatic spiral cutting machine for leather and skin up to 7 mm. thick.
The work begins with the entire leather. With the help of the coloured circles engraved on the table, the leather is centered to get the maximum output. The machine starts by a pedal and the leather is placed automatically in cutting position.
By turning round the leather, you obtain a circle to be worked with a max. diameter of 104 cm. (optional table of cm 152) and the beginning of the strap in the programmed size. Inserting the strap in the open transport wheels, the work starts automatically with a cut speed adjustable up to 150 meters/min., obtaining a continuous hundreds-meters-long strip. The machine stops automatically in case of breaking or end of straps. In this way the operator can work at several machines.
A microprocessor controls 10 different programs according to the different exigences of work; cut width is adjustable on the switch-board from 1 to 10 mm. with increases of 0,1 mm. only.
An electronic measurer allows to know the yeld of the leather and to program the quantity which can be produced. An adhesive film is employed for very thin leathers as a support. The film is taken off after the cut, automatically by the machine.
A special built-in device eliminates static electricity; the circular knife is supplied with automatic sharpening and a centrifugal exhauster semplifies the maintenance of the machine.
